We built our first working prototype back in 2012 and another in 2017, testing the idea inside real growing businesses and learning what worked and what didn't. In 2022 that work became a serious build, and today all of that experience lives in one intelligent platform that replaces a dozen disconnected tools, built from the ground up for SMEs and growing businesses we set out to serve.

From Idea to Launch
The story of how more than a decade of prototypes and hard-won experience became Wizard Application.
The Idea
Long before there was a company, there was a frustration. Working across countless tools and teams, we kept hitting the same wall: businesses forced to stitch together a dozen disconnected systems just to get through the day. The idea behind Wizard Application was born from there.
The First Prototype
Ideas are easy; proof is harder. Our first working prototype arrived in 2012, built around websites, ecommerce, orders and invoices for the businesses we were closest to. It put the thinking in front of real customers, proved the parts that worked, and exposed everything still missing. The name was registered as a UK trade mark the same year.

In 2017 we built again, this time for recruitment teams and the business functions around them: hiring, people records and the day to day running of a company. It taught us how teams actually work, where the tools they rely on let them down, and just how much time is lost moving between disconnected systems. That prototype made the case for building one platform instead of many.
Building Wizard Application
In 2022, with a decade of lessons behind us, we started building Wizard Application in earnest, a single platform designed to do everything a growing business needs. We brought CRM, recruitment, HR, project management, and invoicing together in one place, with intelligence built into its core that we call Wizard AI. From the very start, we built it for SMEs and growing businesses: powerful enough to replace a dozen disconnected tools, yet simple enough for any team to run from a single login.
The Company Is Formed
In 2025, Wizard Application was officially founded as a company. After more than a decade of building and refining, our work became a real business with a name, a mission, and a clear commitment: to bring everything a growing company needs into one platform, and to see that vision all the way through. What began as an idea and a run of prototypes now had the focus and structure behind it to make it real.
Wizard Application Goes Live
In June 2026, we launched Wizard Application to the world. Years of building, testing, and learning came together in a single platform that brings CRM, recruitment, HR, project management, invoicing, and more under one roof, with Wizard AI working quietly across all of it. But for us, a launch is a starting line, not a finish. We keep adding new features, sharpening what is already there, and pushing Wizard AI further, guided by the people who use the platform and the mission that has driven us from the very start: to give SMEs and growing businesses the best all-in-one software anywhere. We are only getting started, and the best is still ahead.
What We Have Shipped Since
Launch was the starting line. Since June 2026 we have published our mobile apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, released browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox so Password Vault logins fill straight from the browser, and shipped features built for specific professions, including Court Bundles, which assembles a paginated court bundle as a single PDF for law firms. New releases keep landing.
